Michael Amott comments: “We’ve spent the last week rehearsing for the upcoming “Tyrants Of Evil” North American tour, and the band is sounding nice and tight. We are armed with a setlist I really dig!”
“These will be our first U.S./Canada shows in almost two years and I’m thinking it’ll be a while before we come back - as we’re slowly getting into ‘writing new album mode’.
“So if you are in the neighborhood, come on down! Oh yeah, did I mention we have EXODUS, ARSIS and MUTINY WITHIN with us on the tour? Sick package if you ask me, I’ll be watching EXO tear it up every night. They both scare me and get me fired up at the same time – perfect!”
“Right now I’m getting ready to head over to the U.S. a few days earlier than the rest of the ARCH ENEMY camp, as it’s NAMM* time!”

*The NAMM Show is one of the largest music product trade shows in the world, its only major competition being the Musik Messe in Frankfurt. It is held every January in Anaheim, California, USA at the Anaheim Convention Center. The January 2008 show had 1,560 exhibitors and a record-breaking 88,100 attendees. The NAMM Show is not open to the general public, only to members of the music trade and/or those who have been invited.
