エクストリームメタルジャイアンツのARCH ENEMYとCARCASSがBOA 2009 (Bloodstock Open Air - 8月14日から16日 ロケーション: Catton Hall, Walton on Trent, Derbyshire) へ出演することが決定した。
この2バンドはフェスティバル開催期間のうちの1日に、コ・ヘッドラインを務める予定であるが、両バンドにとってこの共演は2009年に唯一行われるイギリス公演だ!

Michael Amott (Arch Enemy/Carcass) のコメント: "俺達は今夏にBloodstock Festivalでコ・ヘッドラインを務めることをとても楽しみにしているんだ ! 前回Bloodstock (2007) でパフォーマンスをした時は、とてつもなく素晴らしかった、最高なファン達と驚くべきヴァイヴがそこらじゅうにたちこめていた (雨だったのに! )。
今回は、恐らく今年Arch Enemyがやる唯一のイギリス公演になるかもしれない - だから、俺達はフルパワーでメタルアタックを繰り出せるよう、ベストを尽くすつもりさ、それはBloodstockの観客も同じだって知ってるしね!"

Arch EnemyとCarcassは、2009年7月25日にスペインで開催が予定されているLORCA FESTIVALでもコ・ヘッドラインを務めることになっている。

またArch Enemyは2009年6月20日にフィンランドで開催予定のNUMMI ROCKへの出演が決定している。

Extreme metal giants ARCH ENEMY and CARCASS have been added to the bill for BOA 2009 (14th - 16th of August, Location: Catton Hall, Walton on Trent, Derbyshire).
The pair will co-headline one day of the festival and the event will mark the ONLY UK shows of 2009 for both bands!

"We are very much looking forward to co-headlining the Bloodstock festival this summer! Last time we played Bloodstock (2007) it was bloody brilliant, fantastic fans and an awesome vibe all around (despite the rain!).
This may very well be Arch Enemy's sole UK show this year - so we'll do our best to bring the full-on METAL ATTACK, and we know the Bloodstock crowd will too!"



Arch Enemy and Carcass will also co-headline LORCA FESTIVAL in Spain on July 25th 2009.

And Arch Enemy have also been confirmed for NUMMI ROCK in Finland on June 20th 2009.
